The Baird Family: Columbia, MO Family Photographer

The Baird family met us at Capen Park for their fall family photos and it turned out to be the perfect location for this adorable family.  Avery, their oldest son, absolutely loves acorns and Capen Park had tons of acorns! Finley, their youngest son, enjoyed touching the tall grass in the open areas of the park.  These boys loved everything that this location had to offer, which made for a fun photo session!

Armentrout Wedding: Columbia, MO Wedding Photographer

In 2012, we had the opportunity to capture the beautiful love that Zach & Ashley shared during their engagement session.  If you missed their adorable engagement photos, check them out here. A few weeks ago, we captured their rustic, chic, fun wedding. They spent their special day at Stoney Creek Inn and everything was absolutely stunning! Ashley spent countless hours making all of the wedding decor by hand and let us tell you-- the decor was fabulous! She should start her own Etsy shop because she is one talented woman! 

So many laughs were shared throughout Zach & Ashley's wedding day. We are blessed to have been a part of their special day and to get to freeze their love filled moments in time.  Thanks Zach & Ashley!

What Happens When 2 Photographers Photograph One Another....

It is not very often that Melissa and I get in front of the camera, so when it came time to taking some new head shots of one another there were tons of cheesy poses, lots of primping and plenty of snort laughs from our attempts of trying to be "model like!" Let me just say that being on the other side of the camera is totally different. Although it was different being in front of the camera rather than behind, it was an absolute blast getting photographs taken. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to be photographers and so lucky to have met so many wonderful people along the way. These are moments that we will treasure for many years to come. 

Life is simply too short, so take the time to capture your beautiful self.
