Sexton Family: Columbia, MO Photographer

Have I mentioned how much I adore my business partner, Melissa?! I love that we have the opportunity to capture one another's family photos every year. This year my husband, Will, and I decided to take our photos at a very special location, our family farm.

As a little girl, one of my favorite things to do was to swing on an old tree swing on our old farm in Illinois. I would swing for hours and hours just taking in all of the sounds and beauty of the farms surrounding us. As I sat and reflected about the joy that the old tree swing in Illinois brought to me, Will and I decided that we would build a new tree swing on our family farm here in Missouri, where many generations to come could enjoy it. We incorporated this very special tree swing into our photo session and I couldn't be more excited to share the photos with you!

The Schwartz Family: Columbia, MO Family Photographer

Talk about one adorable family!! Their outfits were super cute, little Parker was one handsome young boy and Truman, the dog, was a lover all around. We had such a blast photographing this gorgeous family at Rocheport. Beautiful family + stunning location = amazing, life long memories captured.

The Burwell Family: Columbia, MO Family Photographer

We had the chance to spend time with the Burwell family a couple of weeks ago. Isn't everyone so photogenic? Probably one of our easiest extended family sessions ever!

Meet the Burwell family!

The Bruce Family: Columbia, MO Family Photographer

It's been about 2 or 3 years since we last took the Bruce Family portraits. These two boys are so stinkin' handsome. I have a feeling they are going to be heartbreakers when they get older so watch out girls!

Meet Jackson. He's nine years old and was so excited to tell us he scored a perfect score on the math portion of the MAP test at his school.

And this is Grayson, the goofiest, silliest 7 year old boy I've met. He just makes me laugh and feel happy when I'm around him.
