Sweet Baby Grayson: Columbia, MO Newborn Photographer

Grayson was such a cutie!! And he didn't get too frustrated with us messing with him for 2 hours.  He was absolutely a sweet baby and we were blessed to have met him. Below are a few of our favorite shots from his session.

Addy turned 3!! : Columbia, MO Photographer

One of the best parts about being a photographer is getting to watch our clients grow up and being a part of each stage of their lives!  Little miss Addy recently turned 3 years old and was full of energy and total cuteness!  When we took some photos of her last fall (check them out here), she was full of smiles then, but this time around she created her own "model" poses as well.  Her entire outfit just melted our hearts---matching purse, cute sunglasses, fun headband, adorable shirt and beautiful shoes.  We had tons of fun during her session; Addy showed us how to put on makeup and how to play the drums.  Thanks for a fun play date Addy!

Wedding Avenues, Columbia, MO Wedding Photographer

We had so much fun at the Wedding Avenues mock reception a couple of weeks ago. Anne Churchill, owner and event coordinator at  Annabelle Events & Rentals, produced and managed the event. Wedding Avenues is an entirely new twist on the idea of a wedding show or expo. What makes Wedding Avenues different than traditional wedding shows is that brides actually get to visit with vendors in their own studio or space, sample their products and view their work.  Brides were transported around Columbia to the many vendor "Stops" by Tim at Envite Me Transportation. It was truly a day for brides to relax, talk with vendors, experience wine tastings at each stop, and be inspired as they planned their wedding day. The day ended at Kimball Ballroom on Stephens College campus for an extravagant Mock Reception.

We had the chance to talk with a few brides at the Mock Reception, and they were having a blast!

Here are a few photos of how Annabelle Events & Rentals and Exclusive Events transformed Kimball Ballroom.

The food was catered by Fresh Ideas and was absolutely delicious!

Another awesome thing about Wedding Avenues was the swag bag that each bride and their guests received. It was filled with all sorts of goodies!  The bags were from The Knot and were filled with samples from Sephora, an apron from A Catered Affair, a small whisk from Tallulahs, a Columbia Home magazine, and much much more!

Another thing about Wedding Avenues that I loved was the Expert Q&A Lounge. This was an opportunity for brides to ask Anne or Erin any questions they may have about planning their wedding.

The mock reception was really a blast with lots of dancing, eating, and talking about wedding planning! We were so excited to be a part of the event.

We can't wait for Wedding Avenues 2014!
