Sweet Baby Grayson: Columbia, MO Newborn Photographer

Grayson was such a cutie!! And he didn't get too frustrated with us messing with him for 2 hours.  He was absolutely a sweet baby and we were blessed to have met him. Below are a few of our favorite shots from his session.

Sweet Sophia's First Birthday Cake Smash - Columbia, MO Photographer

Cake smash sessions are quite simply one of  the funnest sessions we do!  We arrived at Sophia's house to meet Sophia's family. We were greeted by Sophia, her mom and dad, and then her older sister Olivia who was feeling sick that day. We first took a few photos of Sophia for her 1 year portraits, and then let her do the cake smash at the end. Sophia did a wonderful job and was entire the happy time. And we were able to squeeze just a few smiles out of the little cutie!  Her older sister Olivia was such a character! Her mom and dad said just 20 minutes before we arrived, Olivia was pretty much helpless saying she wasn't feeling well. But when we arrived, she was a  ball of energy, talking to us and telling us all sorts of stories. She was such a sharp, well spoken little girl for her age. I would have easily guessed she was 5 years old, but she was only 3. Sophia's family was a blast and getting to meet new people and spend time with their families is one of the best parts about being a photographer. Congratulations on turning ONE little miss Sophia!  We are glad to have met you and your family!

Iowa Baby Session: Columbia, MO Portrait Photographer

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful state of Iowa.  Every time I travel to Iowa I envision a flat land state, but I am quickly reminded how the land is rolling and simply gorgeous there!  I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful 5 week old baby girl whose outdoor session was so much fun!
