We had a VERY busy fall season - we were busier than ever and now that the cold weather has arrived, we are getting caught up on blogging some of our fall family sessions.

Meet the Frede family! Could Charlotte be any cuter? I just love her cheeks!

Kaitie & Ian: Columbia, MO Engagement Session

Kaitie and Ian have an amazing and funny love story, in fact they almost never started dating because Ian lost her phone number the first night she gave it to him! As time passed, fate decided to step in and Ian realized he had a friend in common with Kaitie and was able to reconnected with her. They soon also realized that they  had literally lived across the street from one another for 7 years! They began dating for the next two and a half years and then Ian popped the big question. 

Ian knew Kaitie was a huge fan of wine. So on Christmas Day, Ian gave her a set of wine glasses with her initials on them. He then told her he forgot about another set and pulled out two more glasses with her initials on them, but these initials were different. The initial of her last name on the glasses were "B", which was not her last name. It was the first letter of Ian's last name. She turned to her family, "He needs to go back to school and learn his alphabet," not even realizing what it meant. Then, as she turned back around to face Ian, she found him down on one knee with her grandmother's ring, asking her to marry him. The two are planning a summer wedding in St. Louis. In the time we spent with them, it's easy to see how much they love one another.
