Snow day: Columbia, MO Photographer

Did anyone watch the KOMU 6pm news last night?  If so, then you may have caught a glimpse of some of our amazing snow sculpting talent.  With all of the beautiful white snow that we received yesterday, my husband and I thought we would round up our neighbors and have a day of playing in the snow.  We first built a large snowman and then decided that we wanted to build a deer. None of us are engineers, so figuring out how the deer's body was going to be supported was challenging at first.  After much thought we came up with a plan and got right to work.  A little over an hour later, we stepped back and looked at our masterpiece...a "snow buck" with a real deer tail and real antlers.  Check it out below!

Happy snow playing!
